Claremont Motel 6 is usable if all you want is being next to the colleges, see your kid and otherwise shower, sleep, and get coffee from Starbucks one minute away. If you expect more you may be disappointed. The next affordable place is 10 min by csr. YMMV

The young guy that works the night shift is very rude and unprofessional, he should take customer service classes and not bring his personal problems to his work environment, I have stayed here many times and everyone is professional and has patience and restraint from being rude to the paying customer, he refused to service because I asked about late check out and proceeded to say that I should come back when his coworker shows up. Extremely rude and not suited for Motel 6......

Didn’t even get past the rude staff. They treated me like I interrupted their meal and couldn’t be bothered. I had booked a weekend there and ended up not making it for the first night and wanted to inform if I could still check in since I had 2 more days I paid for. The staff very rudely said NO we are completely booked, hastily. I had just got off of a long road trip and asked if I could use their restroom. The staff promptly pointed over to the Dennys next door and told me to use their bathroom. Didn’t make it past there and canceled my reservations and went elsewhere

I had a great stay at Motel 6 Claremont. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, check-in was fast and easy, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The location is also super convenient close to food, shopping, and easy freeway access. Excellent value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This is a dated motel but it is clean and for the most part quite. Staff is great,I dropped my wallet in the parking lot a worker found it and I got a call that they had my wallet nothing was missing

First of all me and my hubby wanted a nice clean place to celebrate our anniversary the place sucks! The shower head was too high, our telephone didn’t work and I reported it nothing done, the sill on the door was bad we can see people passing by our door, it was overpriced for what we were put through, never ever will we come back here!?and it was not quiet the room next to us was blaring their tv all nights the air vent in our room was very very noisy it sounded like paper was caught in there it took awhile for us to fall asleep!!!!

Rooms smell like homeless people. Filters need to be changed in rooms. Switched 3 times found a smoking room that smelled better than the other non smoking rooms. Rooms smell like cat urine. The pool was closed all summer. The jacuzzi was green. This is not a dog friendly motel even tho they except dogs there is nowhere but a rocky concrete area for the dogs. They shun you if you dog smells their precious bushes out front. I saw more garden being tend to than the rooms. The front desk guy kept my change and laughed about it the next day saying he was over so he took the money and bought a soda. The maintenance guy asks for drugs and is definitely bring “paid cash” and tried to come into my room until he saw my 95lb pit bull massif. There was a man trying to get into peoples cars in the back but the motel didn’t care. They only harass you about your dogs. Condoms all over but you can’t let your dog pee anywhere but the concrete rocky area. They had a surprise inspection while I was there and they were not prepared. Disgusting place.

1/5 because the POOL WAS OUT OF ORDER during our stay, but we weren't warned about this in advance or given the opportunity for a refund of our prepaid reservation. The pool and hot tub are the only appealing things about this hotel, so that was totally unacceptable and ruined any chance of a good stay. As for the facilities, they're run down and bare bones, but clean enough and fairly well located. Read closely - there's no hair drier, coffee maker, or even shampoo. There is a fridge and microwave, which is helpful. If you really need to save a few dollars and this is the cheapest - ok. But if you want to have a nice trip, I would spent a few dollars more on somewhere nicer.

WENT TO VISIT MY daughter while she has been renting here and when I was tapping on her door . A drug addict renting next door came out of his room screaming at me. Demanding to know me and my daughters names as he was going to report me for banging on the walls of the inside of the motel room even thought I hadn't been in the room and was just picking up my daughter. Earlier one of their Hispanic Latino staff had asked me to ask one of these two people for crystal ! How would I ask someone to sell crystal when I don't believe in the use of drugs and I have never used ?!!!! This is a terrible motel and the staff does nothing to prevent RIF-RAF. It's actually the exact opposite which surprises me because Claremont used to be strict !

The rooms are clean but in poor repair with cracks in the sink. There are no dressers or closets. And no coffee makers. The refrigerators are tiny and freeze everything. For the worst part is that they close their pool ridiculously early. After getting kicked out at 9:00 p.m. We asked office the next day what time they closed and we told us 7:30. So the next day we planned our day to go swimming at 7:00 p.m. And in broad daylight in the middle of July in Southern California and 85° heat. The pools were closed already at 7:00 p.m.. we chose the place because of the pool that we've barely been able to use it.
