Change in management made this place horrible. Used to be the nicer of the motel 6 properties, but the customer service is absolutely horrendous. They are so rude and will literally yell at you to leave the property or they "will make you leave" while waving their hands in your face for simply asking when a policy recently changed.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even dealing with the fact there was someone who was locked out of their room because of their failure to pay their room on time. The staff kept their positive composure, handled the situation with care and also took care of myself and my kids with no problem. Would definitely come back for another visit.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Especially if you have a family!We had a scary stay and front desk doesn’t do anything. The phone inside the room did not work which made matters worst. We had to leave at 2am because we feared for our safety. We heard the room upstairs what sounded like a fight or struggle and a women screaming!Called again the following morning after never getting a call answered. Finally they answered and they basically said and I quote “it’s a motel we cannot do anything just changed room”How about answer the phone for starters and take care of the situation on hand. Sketchy people stay there. I’ve stayed in motel 6 before and never had this experience especially with the staff being so negligent. Horrible location!!!

Claremont Motel 6 is usable if all you want is being next to the colleges, see your kid and otherwise shower, sleep, and get coffee from Starbucks one minute away. If you expect more you may be disappointed. The next affordable place is 10 min by csr. YMMV

Horrible experience. I have 3 small kids first room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was non smoking. Asked for a different room and my baby was ok the floor saw a black widow and multiple small bugs! I booked for 2 nights checked out after the first night! Told front desk he said they would waive cancelation fee and would refund just to call hotels.com. Hotels.com attempted multiple times to call no one answered they sent an email and they denied the request for refund. But when I call they answer. Waste of money and horrible rooms. Mold in the showers never again.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here on numerous occasions to get away for the weekend and tonight was the last time we go there. It was our 2nd night there and my boyfriend went in the lobby to use the vending machines when very rude and disrespectful telling him very discriminating comments and then asking him if he is a guest when my boyfriend provided his ID and the employee said he was good the employee continued to be disrespectful and threatening to him. All I gotta say is first you treat people the way you want to be treated and 2nd if your gonna work costumer service of any kind learn how to be courteous and professional with everyone.

The young guy that works the night shift is very rude and unprofessional, he should take customer service classes and not bring his personal problems to his work environment, I have stayed here many times and everyone is professional and has patience and restraint from being rude to the paying customer, he refused to service because I asked about late check out and proceeded to say that I should come back when his coworker shows up. Extremely rude and not suited for Motel 6......

Didn’t even get past the rude staff. They treated me like I interrupted their meal and couldn’t be bothered. I had booked a weekend there and ended up not making it for the first night and wanted to inform if I could still check in since I had 2 more days I paid for. The staff very rudely said NO we are completely booked, hastily. I had just got off of a long road trip and asked if I could use their restroom. The staff promptly pointed over to the Dennys next door and told me to use their bathroom. Didn’t make it past there and canceled my reservations and went elsewhere

I had a great stay at Motel 6 Claremont. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, check-in was fast and easy, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The property felt safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The location is also super convenient close to food, shopping, and easy freeway access. Excellent value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This is a dated motel but it is clean and for the most part quite. Staff is great,I dropped my wallet in the parking lot a worker found it and I got a call that they had my wallet nothing was missing
